Lms api adapter download

All this builds one on the other. If the course cannot find the API adapter, it all comes to a screeching halt. Most of the code that provides for all the communication is pre-created to do things a certain way. The API adapter has a standard name so the course knows what to look for. What that means is the course is automatically looking for something with a known name in a known location. The course, as created, may or may not also contain its own frameset.

The APIWrapper looks for the adapter in a particular place based on an expected configuration between course files and the LMS launcher. If the configuration is not what it expects, then it ends up looking in the wrong place. You can follow the question or vote as helpful, but you cannot reply to this thread. I have the same question Report abuse. Details required :. Cancel Submit. Geethu B Moderator. Hi Marilyn, This issue may occur if the website is not compatibile with Internet Explorer 10 or due to corrupted Internet Explorer files.

Do you face this issue on other web browsers? Refer to the link. How satisfied are you with this reply? June 24, When we upload the course on scorm cloud, the api error appears but when we check the Wrap SCO in the course settings, the error disappears.

Yes the LMS is scorm 1. It's difficult to say much more without actually seeing the content. If you want, you can send it to [email protected] and I'll take a look. Or get in touch with [email protected] , they are very helpful.

June 25, I think we found an error. We are putting a code in the scorm package that creates the API error. Thank you for the replies. I really appreciate it. At least I understand what API error means. February 3, We are getting the same error message and I cannot figure it out February 4, What are the error messages you get? Usually there are more than just the one saying "Unable to find API adapter".

Several reason may be responsible for that: 1. Are you sure you uploaded only the scorm package zip. Just asking because it happened for me that a client tried to upload the zip I had sent which contained more than just the scorm package so it should have been unzipped to get the "real" scorm zip.

If they don't match it may happen that the course searches for the API adapter in the wrong place. Are you using "Web windows" or other objects to produce iframes or any other kind of frames?
